what's real?

• my little guy has taken to hitting and kicking and spitting at me on a daily basis
• i still have this cough that won't leave me alone. it's wearing me down.
• i long for a slow day with a home cooked meal and a family dinner at the table.

what i know...

• this phase will pass as it has before
• my cough seems to be getting better and it will pass too.
• baseball and spring activities are a lot of fun and we still get lots of chances to reconnect through things like playing games and reading.
